Review by hotel critic
I recently spent three weeks at Vibes Hostel, and here's my take. The ambiance here is quite relaxed, which was perfect for my need to unwind after extensive fieldwork in the Andes. I particularly enjoyed the spacious indoor pool and the sun deck where I could soak up some rays while reflecting on my anthropological adventures. The rooftop terrace was a delightful space for evening entertainment—trying karaoke and catching live performances was a fun contrast to my usually serious pursuits. The shared lounge provided a comfortable spot to connect with fellow travelers, making it feel like a home away from home. Santiago, the manager, stood out with his friendly demeanor and local insights, adding a personal touch to my stay. The included breakfast was decent, fueling my explorations in nearby historic sites. If you seek a blend of tranquility and a sense of community, Vibes might just be the right place for you. No question, I’d consider returning!
